What if I don't know what animal is causing the problem?
That's common. Describe the sounds, droppings, damage, time of day, and where you've noticed activity. Those clues can help narrow down the likely culprit.
Do you only remove the animal?
The goal is to address the larger property problem, not simply the animal's immediate presence. Depending on the situation, that can include identifying and addressing access points and other contributing conditions.
